The Appalachian Learning Initiative has released its latest #RecommendedReading list for #Fall2023.


This season's collection brings together a group of Appalachian poets, storytellers, and essayists, including Chrissie Anderson Peters, Jesse Graves, and Charles Wright. We have also included a fantastic collection, Walk Till the Dogs Get Mean: Meditations on the Forbidden from Contemporary Appalachia, which includes essays from over twenty #Appalachian authors.
